Had exactly what we needed for our betta. Uncommon to get live daphnia but just the holiday treat we wanted. Great local fish store I highly recommend them if you’re looking to add more to your tank ❤️

This is an awesome fish store! I’ve been getting fish, plants, and equipment from this store for years. They have it all—tanks, fish, décor, equipment, and more. The owner is a cool cat who knows his stuff about the hobby, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. You might pass a few fish stores on your way here, but don’t stop at those shops before you visit The Love Aquarium. Have a nice day!

Great aquarium store. Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff! The staff helped us figure out what we're looking for. We came in for mosquito fish, but they were out of stock at the time, so we were recommended some minnow for a small outdoor pond. The fish have grown larger and are thriving 6 months later! If you haven't been here before, come in to just look around. There's so many unique aquariums to see. This shop beats any other general pet store with an aquarium section.

First time in the yesterday. Starting up a freshwater 55 gallon community tank and needed some help/advice and Jake was patient and answered all our rookie questions. Bought a few things but he advised against getting fish in it until it cycles at least one time even though my wife and kids were really wanting to fill and put fish in. Good service, prices and selection. This will be my go to shop for all things aquarium.

Really one of the best Well kept aquariums I have seen in San Diego. Staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. My kids love getting their plants and fish here for their aquarium. Definitely see why people come here. Highly recommend.
