The Omni Movement is truly something special! Not only is it the perfect place to grow in your dance style, but it’s also where you’ll find a supportive, welcoming community that feels like family. They teach West Coast Swing, Bachata, and Brazilian Zouk—each with top-tier instruction and a fun, encouraging environment. I still remember my very first Zouk class (which is free on the 4th week of the month!). I instantly fell in love with the style, but what stood out even more was how welcomed I felt. Everyone was warm and friendly, and even the advanced dancers were happy to dance with me during a social—even though at the time, all I knew was the basic step. The positivity, the energy, and the eagerness everyone has to improve were infectious. I didn’t think twice before signing up for a membership that same night! Fast-forward almost a year, and I still can’t believe I’ve stuck with something so consistently! I also recently joined Bachata, and like every other style here, the experience has been amazing. No matter what you take, the instructors are excellent. Classes are medium-sized—perfect for practicing with multiple partners, understanding technique, and fine-tuning connection. The teaching is flexible and easy to follow, the material is challenging yet totally digestible, and the whole environment is uplifting. But the best part? The people. Every member is genuinely an awesome human being!

The dance classes at Omni are well taught and are progressively structured from Beginning to Advanced levels. They offer multiple styles (right now they have West Coast Swing, Bachata and Zouk). Most of their teachers are good, their prices are reasonable and people are friendly. This is a good place to learn to dance in the Bay Area, in my mind.
