Six class members, but each received individual attention and training. Strong on sit, stay, down, leave it, and come, which all members achieved thanks to Nichole.

Pierre and I were was so happy to meet Sara! I had been struggling with multiple barking issues, other dog interaction's. I am a softie! Gave in too much! After our first visit, I knew help was on the way! Sara guided me though understanding Pierre”s behaviors, which I had not even considered She communicated with me, sending information and videos! Excellent experience!.

I can’t say enough great things about Sarah and The Persuaded Pooch. She worked with me to understand my needs and put together a customized plan for my 9 month old puppy Riley focused on walking, recall and greeting both dogs and people. Sarah recognized early on that Riley seemed anxious and somewhat fearful on walks and even around the house, specifically with loud noises and things that move. She taught me how to identify Riley’s stress points and work with her to categorize and normalize them. Riley became a much more confident dog and was then able to proceed and be successful with our planned training. Riley is a great walking partner, both in the neighborhood and at the park. She continues to improve every day with her greetings and her recalls from the back yard. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Nicole was wonderful giving us tools to help our reactive dog. We were able to have guests over and had no issues with our dog barking or getting triggered for the first time since we adopted him. Her training gave us the confidence to know how to handle situations with our dog that were problematic. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Nicole and The Persuaded Pooch highly enough! My puppy, Franklin, has completed three group classes - Puppy Socialization, Top Notch Teens, and Basic Obedience. While each course covered similar topics, they built upon and expanded the skills learned in the previous course and it was very worthwhile to take all three. I appreciate that Nicole always leaves time for questions and she has provided invaluable advice over the past 4 months. Franklin can reliably perform all basic commands at just 7 months old and has excellent manners both at home and in public. People always comment that he is shockingly well behaved for his age. I truly feel that would not be the case without Nicole’s help! We are very excited to try the recall class next!

My fearful, reactive pup and I worked with Nicole Berthold of Persuaded Pooch, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She helped us create a routine for visitors and develop management techniques to keep my pup, myself, and visitors comfortable while continuing to desensitize my dog to strangers and make the interactions positive experiences. I would recommend The Persuaded Pooch to anyone whose dog is struggling with behavioral issues.
