As others reviews noted, the service at the Rittenhouse Spa is "god awful." A friend gave me a gift card to this spa. They took her money and never sent me the gift. She gave me her receipt and I called to book a couple's massage for my wife's birthday, three weeks before the day. An employee (Allison) told me they'd have to check availability and call me back. No-one called me back. When I called again a few days later, nearly all the times for her birthday were booked. Apparently the spa can't recruit enough massage therapists to offer a full day's schedule. (Not surprising, given how they conduct business.) I asked politely if I could talk to the spa director (Nicholas) for help, and he never called me back either. The Logan Spa is higher rated, less expensive, and much nicer. It was a no brainer to book there instead.

I’ve been going to this spa for several months now, and Renee has completely turned me into a regular. I first booked a session because of my work in construction and martial arts training. I deal with a lot of tension and soreness on a daily basis. From my very first appointment, Renee’s attention to detail was on point. She really listens and focuses on the areas that need care the most. She’s also extremely knowledgeable; when I asked about ways to prevent back pain, she gave me helpful advice and explained everything clearly. Her massages are not only physically relieving but also mentally calming! Her energy is peaceful and grounding. After seeing her once a month for the past five months, I’m seriously considering going more often. Thank you, Renee, for always helping melt away all the stress and keeping my body going strong.

good massage, but brutal waste of time and money. service god awful - had to chase down staff multiple times, once cus my locker was broken and there was no employee in the lockerroom for about 15 mins and had to wait for somebody else to get help (both my and my girlfriends locker malfunctioned in different ways, which is also pretty absurd, the lockers should be seamless). around 4:50pm I wanted to order food before the 6pm massage. There were no employees by the pool for 25 min so I had to chase somebody down, then when they got to the pool I was told I couldn't get a turkey club cus it would take too long. it was 5:20 and our massage was at 6 pm..... it takes about 2 minutes to put turkey and cheese onto bread and we were told it would be 40 mins + after the employee knew I had to chase her down to order in the first place. pretty insane. saving grace was the good massage but otherwise place was terrible.

I like the spa services here a lot, but I recently got a French gel manicure & pedicure for NYE. My gel polish started peeling from 4 out of my 10 fingers on Wednesday morning before my NYE plans. I got my nails done on Sunday…. I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of service I received, where my nails peeled after a few days. Their services are too expensive for the result.

I love spas... and I love going anywhere with my best friend, we have fun and laugh anywhere we go. Glad I was with her- as this spa left me flabbergasted - and not in a good way. Its quite a bit rusty and dirty. Its very old. The water jug in the gym was empty- the pool heater didn't work (it was so cold!), the towels we not available by the pool, there were no attendants to take a drink order or bring our "complementary champagne" (finally did get to us after about 9 requests, it was awful), the sauna was out of water (crazy right?).. the massage was fine. Nothing to write home about. Maybe they were having a bad day. Oh, and the attendant who provided us our initial access and tour- she gave me two left footed slippers and while showing me how to use a code for the locker- accidentally locked us out of it. I can not in good conscious recommend this spa. I did let them know at checkout- and they took $20. off the bill... of over $500. OVER PRICED for what we received BY FAR. I am so sorry to leave this review. It was just far too disappointing. Great location though!
