I had a great experience working with Alec. The workouts were always varied and consistently challenging - definitely more than I would have managed on my own without pointers and guidance! I ended up extending from 3 to 6 months because I wanted to keep the momentum going. I now have an extensive repertoire of exercises to do on my own around the gym and the chronic hip pain I was dealing with before is gone. Those were my goals going in and I’m really glad both were met!

I’ve been training with Alec for about six months, and it’s been such a great experience. He makes every workout challenging but fun, and he’s really helped me stay consistent and motivated. I’ve become so much stronger as he gradually challenges me with heavier weights, more reps, and increased intensity, while keeping the workouts varied and always emphasizing proper form and technique. He also checks in about my nutrition and macros, which has been helping me better understand how to reach my goals and make steady progress. Alec is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to push you while still making sure you enjoy the process. Alec is awesome -- he pushes me the right amount so that I feel challenged and accomplished but not like I'm going to hurt myself. I always leave feeling proud of what I was able to do. Working out in a public gym is for sure outside my comfort zone but my experience there has been great. I also really appreciated how thorough Peter's intake process was before he matched me with a trainer - his openness made me feel comfortable sharing about why I was there and what I was struggling with in terms of strength/food/etc.

Peter and Alec at Seattle Personal Trainer are absolute gems. I only had 6 weeks left in Seattle before I moved across the country and Peter was so awesome to allow me to train with SPT for those 6 weeks. Working with Alec has completely transformed how I view fitness and nutrition. The workouts were challenging but incredibly rewarding and I was looking forward to all of my sessions! In just 6 weeks I feel stronger and healthier than I've been in YEARS. Taking this momentum with me to the east coast. My only complaint is that I didn't come to The Seattle Personal Trainer sooner.
