The Terrace Room is a gorgeous venue! We had our wedding in October at the Terrace Room and loved it so much! Our guests also kept telling us how they enjoyed the venue and that the brunch food was delicious. Candi and Byron were great to work with - kind, organized, and communicative. We had a brunch wedding and the food was on point; various diets were easily accommodated. The tater tot bar was a hit :) A lovely location, supportive staff, and memorable for everyone. We highly recommend the Terrace Room.

The Art Deco architecture and panoramic lake views create such a stunning backdrop for both ceremonies and receptions, truly timeless and elegant. From a photography standpoint, the natural light pouring in through the large windows is a dream, and the space transitions beautifully from day to evening. The Terrace Room was the perfect backdrop for our wedding reception—elegant, warm, and filled with character. The views were stunning, the art deco vibes and decor were gorgeous and unique, and the staff made everything seamless. The staff was great to work with ahead of the event, accommodating various special requests we had, and everything went smoothly on the big day. The service was impeccable, and they made us feel like absolute VIPs all evening long. Our guests are still raving about the gorgeous setting!

We absolutely loved having our wedding reception at the Terrace Room! Candi and Byron were so supportive and easy to work with from the moment we toured the venue to the moment we left for our after party. They’re both so accommodating, flexible, understanding, and really wonderful about sending reminders about all the important logistics. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the space was as both small and intimate, so everyone could have conversations, but also how well the space could open up with plenty of room for dancing! The historic venue needs very little decoration given the art deco style plus the unbeatable view it really is a gem. The team and venue were so perfect for celebrating our special weekend and for showing our guests why Oakland is our favorite city.
