Even though I’m not a customer, I felt compelled to leave a review for Thomas Rug Cleaning Co. & Ararat Oriental Rug. Seeing their storefront featured in Pulp Fiction - when Bruce Willis and his "girlfriend" leaving the location with a chopper - and knowing they’ve kept the very same sign all these years is something genuinely special. In a world where everything is constantly rebranded, renovated, and replaced, it’s refreshing to see a business that chooses to preserve its identity rather than erase it. It’s especially meaningful when you realize that the neighboring River Glen Motel – Drive In, which also appeared in Pulp Fiction, is no longer there and has been replaced by a completely different company. That contrast makes this place stand out even more. So many small pieces of cultural and cinematic history quietly disappear, but this business has chosen to keep its past visible instead of burying it. There’s something comforting and nostalgic about that kind of continuity. It feels like a living time capsule—an authentic reminder of another era that still exists in everyday life. I may not have had my rugs cleaned here, but I truly appreciate what this storefront represents: character, authenticity, and respect for history. Good for them for keeping their story alive when so much else has faded away.

Literally the best rug cleaning business in LA, easy to book easy to pay they pick up and deliver couldn't ask for more. They clean my oriental rug they did a rug pick up and cleaning on a wool Persian rug. They did a deep odor and stain removal on a runner. They also are great at Carpet Cleaning . The gentlemen that came to my home were great. They took several large area rugs. They came back looking amazing. They took measurements when they were here. What I didn’t realize is that they put the rugs back exactly where I had them when they took them. The service was friendly, great, professional and prompt. A great way to begin the year. Erik/Eric at Thomas Rugs - incredibly kind and helpful and so sincere. Could see I was having a rough morning, we chatted for a bit, and he gave me one of the best hugs I’ve ever had. Heart of Gold. Not to mention, the item I picked up has been fully restored to perfection. To also add onto the amazing service I received, when I dropped the item off last week, I was met by another wonderful man whose name I now forgot unfortunately. We took 14+ rugs and runners here post Palisades fires remediation to get throughly cleaned. They did an amazing job and used non-toxic products. They were also huge life savers and provided us new rug pads. The staff was friendly and ensured the turn around was fast! Our client was very happy.
