Took Cooper in for his wellness visit today and couldn’t be more impressed with Thurman Veterinary Center. Dr. Julie Mischke was fantastic — thorough, patient, and clearly cares about what she does. Cooper did great, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for a solid vet in Bakersfield, this is a good one.

First time going to this vet with my senior dog, could not be happier with my experience! From making an appt, to being seen by the doctor today everybody was so nice and caring and they make the experience so personable and don’t make you feel rushed out just to get to the next patient. I can't thank the team at Thurman Veterinary Clinic enough for their kindness. My dog is usually terrified of the vet, but they handled her with so much patience and compassion.
