Very giant portions, but still great food, very good value. Server even brought over a rice beverage at the end for no cost. Very traditional.

Let me set the stage for you: it is 1pm on a hot Saturday afternoon. I come to Tree Garden with my entire Viet family, starved and ready to eat some authentic Korean food. By the end of this experience, I leave mistreated, humiliated, and very upset. I have never been treated this obscenely in my entire life. We had ordered 5 dishes - one including the Galbi Beef. The waitress took our order and, in broken English, told us that this certain dish cost $18.99. We agreed upon this and ordered a portion. Upon receiving the beef, the portion sizing was extremely small (received 9 slices of beef total, as displayed in the photo by the number of bones on the platter). Not wanting to complain, we decided to eat it, despite the $18.99 price. After finishing our meal, we receive the check, only to find out that we were charged $38.99 - a WHOPPING $20 upcharge. When we brought this up to the waitress, her tone immediately became argumentative and condescending. We tried to be reasonable for what we were given in the first place, but the refusal to elaborate on the extra charge was unacceptable and dishonest as a business. Looking back, the fact that this business did not have many customers during a weekend lunch rush is truly telling not just of their food quality, but, now as I've witnessed, of their terrible service as well. If you are considering eating at this restaurant, expect to be scammed out of your money and treated like garbage when you try to point it out.
