Great margaritas and vibe. Got the Baja tacos and they were delicious. Chips and salsa were great too. Seems like it's a very popular hole in the wall.

This is amazing restaurant with some great drinks and food! The taqueria fight is my favorite. Any taco or Mexican dish is great ~ I had beef cheek taco and it melts in my mouth. highly recommended.

I wanted to love this place because of the location, price, and existing reviews. But I must say the shoddy service outweighed the food. Upon entering someone immediately asked if I wanted a table for one. Yes please! They were gone for a minute before a man with dark curly hair pulled back in a ponytail and thick dark glasses asked me what I was waiting on. Excuse me? “What are you waiting on?” I told him someone was looking for a table for me. He said he didn’t know what I was told, but all he had was a table and a seat at the bar. Mind you the seat at the bar was right next to the trash. I said that a table was fine because that’s what the fella said earlier, and I was just waiting on him. He raised is voice. I DON’T KNOW WHO YOU SPOKE WITH. ALL I HAVE IS A TABLE AND SEAT AY THE BAR. Holy crap. I almost turned and walked out. I fearfully walked to my assigned table. The server was polite at first, but ultimately he seemed concerned with getting his tables wrapped up and collecting his tips I will say the food was PHENOMENAL! I got the tampiqueño and empanadas. Everything was so flavorful, colorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a cacophony of flavors and kaleidoscope of plating. You can even get pinto or black beans if you are not a fan of refried beans (which I am not). I usually don’t eat beans and rice at Mexican restaurants for that fact, but these pinto beans and rice were fantastic. I was part of the clean plate club! I cannot recommend this place in full because of the lackluster service, but the food was absolutely top notch.

This place is a treasure in the heart of the city right next to Moscone Center. Despite its upscale location, the prices are surprisingly low. The outdoor section has a beautiful garden setting. And the food is delicious and fresh. Made from scratch salsas and generous serving sizes. One of my new favorites in the city for a modest but satisfying brunch or lunch. Highly recommend!

I was really looking forward to the place and lowkey disappointed! The drinks were amazing (11/10 recommend the Duende). I got the enchiladas (made vegan by using potatos and tofu). The flavors were too salty and needed more creamy/something. Vegan cheese or even avocado or guac would help! Not sure if I would go again. Service was good and our waiter made sure we were hydrated lol (ice water would’ve been nice too lol). He did bring us hot sauce! Didnt need a reservation and was able to walk in on a Sunday evening! Overall 6.5/10
