After trying different salons in the area, Unique Nails is hands down the best place in Chicago for a Russian manicure. The tools used come in sanitized packets and the entire process is hygienic and high quality. I’ve been going there for half a year now and Ayazhan consistently does an amazing job - my manicures last perfectly with no chipping. Ayazhan is also very kind and helpful, always taking the time to help me choose designs and colors that work best whenever I’m feeling indecisive. Also, the atmosphere at the salon is very nice and there’s a TV in the background which always has great shows on, making the appointment fly by quickly.

I’ll never go anywhere else for nails. They look incredible every time and last 4-5 weeks without chipping or breaking. Love this place!

It takes a "special talent" to do a manicure like this—to disfigure and injure your hands. Damaged cuticles, cuts, irritation on every finger. The pain hasn't gone away for two days now. It's traumatic. This is the worst manicure I've ever had. I was booked with a "top manicurist." If this is their "top manicurist," I dread to imagine the level of the other manicurists. I'm attaching photos to this review: the first photo is immediately after the procedure, with bleeding nails; the second is the following day, showing my hands still unhealed and the inflammation persisting. The remaining photos and videos show my hands after manicures at other salons, with careful and high-quality work. Also, during the process, they tried to convince me that the shape of my nails "doesn't allow" me to achieve the desired result. This is untrue. My photos from other salons clearly confirm that my nails allow for a clean, neat, and perfectly shaped manicure—exactly what I requested. The problem isn't the nails, but the quality of the work. Instead of shifting responsibility to the client, improve the quality of your technicians. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone who values their hands.

First time visiting. Beautiful and filled with natural light. Very Clean and everyone was so kind. The girl who worked on me was amazing, she paid very close attention to detail and was very sweet. I would definitely go back and would recommend to a friend.
