My kids had the best experiences at piano summer camps at Vibrant Valley. They had no prior piano knowledge as they started but at the end of the camps they were able to play more than a dozen songs and read simple notes. Now they are enrolled in weekly lessons and they really enjoy them. Ms. Leah is a brilliant and inspiring music instructor. She is kind and patient. She knows how to connect with young students and make the learning journey so much fun!

In just 50 minutes, we move through four thoughtfully designed segments: sight reading (which Leah checks in on personally), a jazz ensemble session that gets everyone grooving, a chance to explore solo improvisation, and private practice time to go deeper. There’s a strong emphasis on rhythm and harmony—but even stronger is the sense of belonging. Leah somehow makes every student feel seen and supported, no matter their level. She meets you where you are and nudges you forward. The studio doesn’t just teach music—it fosters confidence, connection, and joy. 2018 is when our kindergarten boys began working w Leah. She teaches music to all ages supportively with kindness, patience, optimism, and she's also skilled and organized! We wanted our kids to learn an instrument for the skill, learning, adding to their understanding + experience of music, and knew it has other benefits!
