My experience at Vinovore was terrific! I was in the area and walked in on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised with a wide variety of reasonably priced wines, adorable gifts, and even some matchbooks (which I happen to collect)! I was looking for a dry, crisp white wine that’s almost…crunchy, if that makes sense! The associate knew exactly what I meant and suggested several options. She also explained the difference between minerality and fruitiness, which was super helpful. I selected one of her recommendations, a bottle of “Drop By Drop,” and it was absolutely PERFECT! In the store, all the wines have a combination of practical and whimsical descriptions. There will be tasting notes paired with the most poetic and adorable descriptions (“tastes like soaking up the sun in a lush green garden,” that sort of thing). Which as someone who loves poetry, I found the description of the wine I chose to be very fun and accurate! I’ll definitely be swinging by Vinovore again and I absolutely recommend a visit if you’re in the area. Even if you’re not close by, I recommend adding it to your list!

I ordered a few bottles as a gift and they hand wrote the note from me! I was shocked! It was such a wonderful touch and made the experience even better! Their selection is great and the tasting notes make it really easy to select to ones preference.
