Great intimate setting, whether on your own, or with your partner. Staff is attentive and friendly, the food I ordered was terrific, the Pork Shank was highly recommended to me and I was not disappointed. It was incredibly tender, literally falling off the bone, yet it had a crispy crust with herb seasonings. I can't even understand how it was plated without falling apart. The Italian Nightcap paired well with the Bread Putting for dessert,both were excellent. Thanks to Luis, Sara for an excellent dining experience.

Found this fantastic spot right near our hotel. Atmosphere was great despite it being a “quiet” night. Service was 10/10, with excellent recommendations, conversation and level of attention. Drinks were expertly poured. Food was phenomenal. Beef cheeks appetizer was delicious. Beef short rib, duck pot pie, crispy potatoes and bread pudding were all incredible. Will definitely come back here the next time we are in San Diego. Wife and I agreed this was one of our top “travel” meals we’ve had together.

Elevated vibe but not pretentious. The bar offers dozens of unique, amazing cocktails. The dinner menu is small but broad enough to appeal to everyone. The beef cheeks and hummus appetizer was fantastic, the lasagna was rich and delicious with a unique flavor twist, and by all means, order the bread pudding for dessert!!

I cant say enough about our 2, yes 2 visits to the Witherby this week! We were in town for a conference and enjoyed a night out at this outstanding restaurant. It left such a strong impression that we skipped the closing dinner at the conference and took along another couple for another visit! Sarah made both our dinners exceptional! We though perhaps she had ownership in the restaurant at first as she was so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to us both time! So lucky she was there the second visit as well. The ambiance is gorgeous in this vintage building yet made modern with beautiful decor, velvet fabric seating and carefully curated items. The food was simply perfection! We could have indulged simply on the beef cheek appetizer and bread pudding dessert alone! Fantastic craft cocktails and great wines! Giovanni, bar keep, was amazing in helping us pick the perfect cocktails. I would highly recommend a visit to the Witherby to diners seeking high end, intimate, quiet dining with exceptional service...hope you get Sarah!!
