I spent a magical day at the winery with my girlfriend. I’ve heard of this picturesque paradise only 30 min outside of Madison and am so glad I finally made it out. The beauty of the rolling hills and ivy-covered limestone made for the perfect setting for a day sipping wine 🍷🌾🍇🧺 It was clear that the owners loved sharing their process and product with us. I used to think of wine tasting as kind of snobbish, but Wollersheim made learning about wine accessible and inclusive 😇 I learned so much and it only deepened my love of wine and respect for the company. Prairie Blush is probably the best wine I’ve ever tasted in my life. We will be back to try some Bistro eats and enjoy a bottle in the wine garden!

We did a tasting and had lunch in the bistro. Both were lovely. Staff were friendly and well informed. We enjoyed most of the wines, but River Gold was definitely our favorite. Highly recommended

Beautiful place with great history. Everyone on the grounds was so welcoming, we took a tour of the winery with (if I remember correctly Todd) and he was great at keeping our group engaged. Stopped by the bistro on the way out and everything was amazing. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Wisconsin!

Beautiful grounds and a great Bistro. My wife liked the sweet, fruity wines. The distillery was also very nice. All with lots of outdoor seating and scenic views.

My wife and I were impressed! Beautiful place, nice and friendly staff, awesome food options at the Bistro (we tried the prosciutto wrapped asparagus and couple of their flatbreads). Nice wines too! We enjoyed walking around the vineyard and taking photos. You should definitely check out their cave. Also had a chance to talk with the winemaker Philippe who was very friendly and welcoming. Great hospitality! We would love to go again and take one of their guided tours exploring further the winery and the distillery.
