We had high expectations given the restaurant’s reputation, but unfortunately the experience fell short. The spicy chicken had far more dried chilies than chicken, the cumin lamb had more onions than lamb, and the chili lamb was overwhelmed by coriander and garlic rather than balanced flavor. Service was also challenging. The restaurant seemed short-staffed, and we had to call someone each time we needed assistance, as no one checked on us during the meal. We also waited almost an hour to be seated despite trying an online reservation, which already requires a minimum of four people. (We were 3 people) Overall, the experience didn’t match the expectations, and there’s definitely room for improvement in both food balance and service.

AHHHH-Mazing!! Fit for 2 presidents and for for YOU too! Probably the best chance to have a Michelin Star meal, but on a reasonable budget. The portions are all shareable. 3 of us got the large Hot and Sour soup, but could have served 8!! I ate 3 bowls myself. Writing this review is making my mouth water again. Need to know, it's a small footprint so it may take some time to get a table. But, it's 1 million percent worth any wait. My only regret is I don't live close enough to go every week.

It's a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the area, but it is somewhat justified by the flavors. The food here is much tastier than many others along this street. The Mongolian beef was really good in particular along with the string beans. I was told the fried rice was good for two but our group of 5 had a hard time finishing it since we also had chow mein. Overall, I would return but I hope they can bring down the costs just a bit.

So worth coming in here. It’s a smaller restaurant but the servings are massive! I recommend the egg rolls for an appetizer! My husband got the chicken with explosive chilies and we could have easily shared this. Also they have chopsticks as your silverware. I recommend trying it since you are in Chinatown 🤷♀️ I’m not at all good with them but I managed just fine. They do offer forks if you need them. We are going back for a second time during our short week here because it’s just that good! Oh and they have a Michelin Star!!

Five stars for Z&Y Peking Duck! This place is the real deal—super authentic and totally delicious. We went all out and the food was incredible. The Peking Roast Duck lived up to the hype; the skin was perfectly crispy and the meat was so tender. We also demolished the tender Black Pepper Prime Ribs, amazing Grilled Giant Shrimp, and fresh veggies. It’s super kid-friendly too! The best part for my little one was the adorable apple dim sum—such a fun treat. The environment feels high-end and modern, which is great. Highly recommend this spot for a fantastic family dinner!
