Great place for dinner with the fam. The waiters were very kind and they brought out the dishes in ~5 min. Great food, lots of protein. Similar to a fine dining atmosphere.

Everything was very good. I even loved the rice. I'll definitely be back. I wanted to make a special note about the size of the dishes; they're great.

I hate to give bad reviews, but this restaurant is crying for one. It has apparently been skating by on a vote of “best Mediterranean restaurant in the East Bay,” apparently by people who don’t know the cuisine. I wanted one thing on Father’s Day, stuffed grape leaves, a staple of Mediterranean cooking, worldwide. For $10 I was brought five small grape leaves, damaged when removed from the can they came out of, and then microwaved. When I asked the hostess/cashier where the grape leaves came from, she did not know. Service was abysmal by two different individuals. The “Greek Salad” was an amateurish mix of cut tomatoes with lettuce. More tomatoes than any other component. The Brussels sprouts, on the menu of any restaurant or bar in the USA, were precut food service items and overcooked by the kitchen. The Hummus Plate with chicken left us questioning the spicing which was lacking. When I asked what “Jerusalem Falafel” was, jalapeños were listed as an ingredient! $60 for completely forgettable food, actually embarrassing for a popular restaurant, but the cost cutting by the kitchen is filling the owner’s wallet. Do not go here! It will not let me leave a zero star review.

We went during the brunch hours and the entire dining experience was great as it was not crowded. The dishes were roundly commended by the group as delicious, high quality and well prepared. As I am thinking about it, there really wasn’t anything bad about anything. Our server(s) were really professional and often anticipated our needs. I can see why this place is well reviewed.

This place was voted as the best Mediterranean restaurant in the East Bay, and it sure deserved the name! The Arabic Cheese is a must-have - Lightly toasted soft and flavorful cheese with plenty of vegetables dressing. The hummus was also very tasty. It’s a great place to go if you want something light and delicious.
