The haircut and conversation was great, it felt so easy to talk to Andrew. He did a very good job and was worth it if you find yourself in the Seattle area needing a fresh cut.

I always have a great experience at 028 Barbershop. The place is clean, the vibe is welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their clients. Christian is the one I usually go to and he’s excellent. He pays close attention to the details, always makes sure I get exactly what I’m looking for, and he’s great to talk to while I’m in the chair. He’s professional, always on time, and consistent every visit. It’s rare to find both the shop and the barber at this level, and that’s why I keep coming back.

Chelsey is a highly proficient and personable stylist. Definitely recommend. One note: I had booked a "haircut" & wash ($60) -- which is already an alarming price point for me personally -- but I felt I was unknowingly upgraded to a "skinfade" & wash ($70) after Chelsey and I chatted a bit about my desired hair style. Granted, this turned out to be what I wanted/needed for my hair, and I'm pleased with the end result. But as a principle, I would've liked clearer communication directly from my stylist about the price bump since I'd booked my appointment with a certain price in mind.

"Francisco is an exceptional barber — truly a master of his craft. If you’re visiting the USA, I highly recommend stopping by 028 Barber Shop in downtown Seattle, WA, and asking for him. You won’t be disappointed!"

I love the haircut I got from Vito! I told him that needed something short enough that I couldn't get a grip on it (I have trichotillomania) and then very short around the sides and backs to keep me cool (I have perimenopausal hot flashes). Then I showed him some photos of P!nk for the general look I was going for. He worked with me to design a haircut that would meet my needs while fitting my style preferences. He did a great job! I included a photo of my haircut and photos of the P!nk haircuts that were used as inspiration so you can see how well he did giving me something that fit the look I wanted. Vito was also very laid back and accommodating about my ADHD and autism. He even checked in to make sure that the vibrations from the clippers weren't causing sensory issues and offered to take a break if they were. My husband also got a great albeit much simpler traditionally masculine haircut. So, he's great at traditionally masculine haircuts, great at very short feminine haircuts, and great with neurodivergent people. Call 028 and ask when Vito is working and go then to get a great haircut for only $15+tip. And to find out where he ends up after he graduates, he's on Instagram as vitothabarber (note: "tha" not "the"). I am so happy with my cut that I wrote this review just so I can check my Google Maps reviews later to remember who gave it to me and hopefully see Vito again for future haircuts.
