Edited to add a change in my experience. Since November I have been receiving the wrong size air filter. While renting through this company you are automatically made to use and pay for a service where they send you air filters. I contacted them the day I received the wrong air filter from the company they use on 11/20/25. I was told a new one would be sent, it was and was still the wrong size. I have gone back and forth with 1st choice - have been sent 4 incorrectly sized air filters that are too big and do not fit the unit. I’ve since had an asthma attack and was so sick because I could not breathe due to poor air quality and continue to have problems with my asthma and allergies. I was told they would personally provide me one this week that was the correct size and it is now Friday and I have not heard from them. I’ve been renting from them for 6 years now, this situation has really changed my experience. They offered to send me $100 to cover the service I have been paying for and not receiving but really this goes beyond that since my health has been affected negatively. They have continued to say they would send the correct filter for 5 months now. Whoever the owner of this property is, should also be aware that their HVAC system is not being properly cared for. I hope that this situation can be resolved asap. I’ve leased through 1st Choice for 2 years and have had a great experience. Angela in the office has always been friendly and an excellent communicator. When I’ve had maintenance needs Chris and his crew have been prompt and done a thorough job at the property. I have two dogs and they have always worked with me with scheduling and making sure I’m able to be home or put them up any time they come out. I’ve leased through another company in the past and not had such a great experience. I think what sets FCPM apart is that they are local and you are able to reach someone with any needs or questions that you have. They are on top of it and you can tell they care about the work that they do. Rent payment and maintenance request are done online so it’s quick and easy. I’d highly recommend!

Dont rent from 1st choice they do property manage some nice properties I rented from the back in 2024 the place was nice but i started having a rough time due to getting some very scary health issues which caused me financial issues but i did the best i could paid the late fees when late well I started dealing with Leslie Kazan she is very not a nice person and has the snobbyness of rich people mentality because she is cowowner I think of business well i was looking for a place and reached out and explained my circumstances had changed could I try to rent again from them she said I could never rent from them again because when i lived there even though i took care of the place i was late due to my health issues causing financial distress but when she told me was not in so nice words Leslie before you judge someone ask them whats going on instead of acting all high and mighty put yourself in there shoes instead of acting pompous and keep in mind you can have everything right now and lose it the next day and then you would want someone to understand your situation and maybe give you another chance but its ashame 1 persons actions can warrant a bad review but her maintence guys were nice and sylvia was very nice as well. Edited no there was no good faith never asked me about the situation and please dont try to make me look bad for going through a struggle it can happen and there was no maintence concession either people go through things and then there circumstances change so dont punish them for it and make them look unreliable or low I think people should bring it to news attention the way property managements are contributing to people not being able to find housing and especially yalls for the actions of Leslie and willingness to get people second chances but nice try trying to make me look bad i looked the replys and seems yall like calling people out thats childish ams unprofessional what makes yall good is your workers not ownership.
