November 2025: There was a change of management a month ago, and it has been a TOTAL MESS: There have been cars broken into (pictures in other reviews from last month). The FRONT DOOR has NOT been working for over 3 weeks as of today. They have a paper telling you to use the back door, which also shows the PARKING DOOR NOT WORKING (11/11/25). The PARKING DOOR has NOT been working since the management change — over a month. The bar that limits car height dropped, and it has been like that for almost a week. Prices on apartments immediately increased 20% — a 2-bedroom was around 2050, now over 2400. This happened right when management changed. I am 100% not renewing, and it seems I’m not the only one, as more and more apartments are becoming available. Natalie is helpful, but she is the only one assisting; before, they had 3 people working pretty much every day. THESE APARTMENTS ARE NOT SAFE. Anyone can pretty much walk inside, and nothing has been done. If you are looking for an apartment, look elsewhere until they fix these issues, as it is not secure and prices will clearly increase dramatically, while apartments near this building only increased 5–7%.

I have had a great experience here for a couple of years. The amenities are solid, the community is alive (making it easy to meet people), and the location makes your errands accessible. The new management team has been great so far, making helpful changes in the old website. One of the agents, Natalie, has made adjusting to the new team easier with professionalism and resourcefulness. The rent pricing so far has been good in the past two years, but I know changes may come, hopefully immaterial.

I honestly used to love living here — when I first moved in, things were smooth. But ever since the new management transition to Grey Star began, everything has gone downhill quickly. Communication is practically nonexistent. I’ve emailed twice about my refund/credit that I need due to a recent break in on October 6th due to negligence on behalf of the property with the garage door not working properly for multiple weeks (a homeless shelter is next door). After being here since Sept 2024 with no issues, October 2025 multiple cars were broken into. They used the excuse of “We just took over and did not know that.” Yet, there’s cameras pointing towards the garage, if the employees watch the video surveillance or managers do their property walks as they should, they could see the garage was not working properly. Today, October 30th 2025, my guest tried to enter the building after I unlocked the front door through our call system, and there was some kind of cheap rope tied around the main entrance. Completely unacceptable and unsafe. For a place that advertises “luxury living” and “security,” this is beyond disappointing. After the recent break-ins, management promised on-site security and repairs to the garage door, yet neither has been consistently provided. The garage door still doesn’t close properly nor consistently til this day, October 30th, 2025 which is exactly how those break-ins happened in the first place. If security is really “present,” how did they miss a hazard like the main door being literally tied shut? I’ve tried to handle this privately and professionally, but the lack of response and concern for residents’ safety speaks volumes. Prospective residents, beware.

Since moving to Amelia at Farmers Market in July 2024, I've truly appreciated the support from the Leasing and Maintenance teams. They have been incredibly attentive and responsive, always ready to help with concerns. Transitioning to my first apartment can be a daunting experience, but the friendly staff at the leasing office made it feel seamless and welcoming. I also can't thank the maintenance team enough for consistently going above and beyond. I love that I'm in a place close to the farmers market and downtown. It feels like home.

This is my second apartment in Dallas and let me tell you that I have never ever been treated better. The leasing they always help with anything that you need. Savannah is a sweetheart even when I was crying because I had a knee infection she try to make me feel better. Michael from maintenance is the most kind, lovely human being. He was so worried with me being a girl a leaving by myself since he has a daughter so he gave a lot of tips and it was very very sweet. And all of the leasing office team are sweet and ready to help you. The building is beautiful, safe, well if you are thinking on moving to here I would say just do it!
