Curiously, downtown Columbus is home to several middling coffee shops with weak coffee and poor customer service (One Line in the Huntington Center is one such notorious offender). Black Kahawa is on a totally different level! It doesn't matter what I've gotten there--lattes, beans, cocktails, they ALWAYS knock it out of the park. I'll continue coming back for the delicious drinks and friendly faces.

I’m in town for a conference and stopped in today - what a great experience. I ordered a drip coffee, which was excellent, and the barista even offered me samples. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they took the time to answer my questions with genuine kindness. Highly recommend!

This coffee shop at the street corner got high quality coffee. I got the latte. It tasted authentic with a lovely milk foam. Some sandwiches and snacks were also served. The room was beautiful. They got a small patio with a furnace and a great street view. My server was wonderful. WiFi was provided.
