I recently visited this breakfast spot, and although the queue stretched out the door ⏳, the wait turned out to be absolutely worth it. The moment I stepped inside, the aroma of fresh bakes made it clear why this place is so popular 🥐. Among the bakery items, the standout for me was the French onion croissant—flaky, savory, and wonderfully rich 🤤. I also loved the Palmier, perfectly crisp with just the right amount of sweetness. I couldn’t resist taking home a generous selection of their desserts 🍰. The crème brûlée éclair was silky and indulgent, the chocolate bombe was decadent without being overwhelming 🍫, and the chocolate Chambord flourless cake was pure bliss. The chocolate caramel pecan feuilletine offered an incredible mix of textures, and the Parisian macarons were delicate, colorful, and delicious 🌈. One small drawback was the smoked salmon sandwich, which felt a bit undersized for the price 🥪. However, the overall experience—and especially the bakery section—more than made up for it. Despite placing a long and detailed order, the staff at the counter were extremely patient and helpful 😊. I’m already looking forward to visiting again soon! ✨

This morning my wife and I had a craving for something yummy. So on this winter wonderland Monday we went on an adventure to Pistacia Vera. There is some magic that takes place in that bakery. Upon entry we are greeted with a warm, "Welcome." Everyone behind the counter has no ego and they all understand their role. The person that takes our order explains that they can heat up anything behind the counter. Overall, the price for services may be a bit high but the meal, service and aesthetics are worth every single penny. I am grateful to have this type of high end bakery in Columbus. My one wish is: more places took notes on how efficient Pistacia Vera is run and model that. They in a league of their own.

I stopped by Pistacia Vera and got their smoked salmon sandwich along with the strawberry matcha and honestly, this place never misses. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful, but the real standout was the strawberry matcha. It’s hands down my favorite spot for strawberry matcha no other place has come close so far. The balance of flavors is perfect every time, and the café itself has such a cozy, aesthetic vibe. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Columbus!

I genuinely think this is one of the best stops in Columbus. The staff is always super friendly and more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I also think they have some of the best coffee/latte options in the city. Their menu rotates seasonally, so you can always expect to never leave disappointed. My personal fall favorites are the maple butter latte or the pistachio latte. Both are creamy and delicious with the perfect sweet to bitter coffee ratio. If you’re looking for a light bite to eat, you can’t go wrong with the yogurt/granola bowl or the egg salad which is on the BEST croissant bun.

My friend brought me here, and it was great! I am still thinking about the blueberry-lemon iced tea latte! If you like blueberry and lemon, I highly recommend getting that drink. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the drink before I devoured it. I did however get a picture of the cherry almond tart (when it was halfway eaten..sorry guys). It was delicious! I love cherry and almond—I have always wanted a dessert mixing the two because they have very compatible flavor profiles. This tasted great!
