Highly unprofessional experience. I arrived on time for my first appointment and paid for parking, only to be informed that the stylist, Wally, had slept through his alarms for a 10:00 a.m. appointment. The manager, Gina, told me she was unsure when the stylist would arrive and suggested that I wait. While she was apologetic, no solution, compensation, or acknowledgment of the inconvenience—such as reimbursement for parking—was offered. What makes this especially frustrating is that I received three separate appointment confirmation messages. Perhaps those reminders would be better directed to the stylist rather than the client. Luckily, I was able to book a last-minute appointment at Ulta Beauty Salon, and they were able to fit me in. Thank God for Ulta. In response: Being asked to shampoo and prep without any indication of when the stylist would arrive would have put me in a worse predicament. Gina explicitly stated that she could not provide an ETA for the stylist. Proceeding under those circumstances would have meant committing more time without any clarity or assurance of service. This further demonstrates a lack of consideration for my time and reinforces why I chose not to proceed.

Blo was easy to find online, easy to locate and delivered on their promises. My stylist Sierra was friendly, competent and listened to my needs. I will visit again next time I'm in Austin.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alexis G is amazing! She gave me such a beautiful blowout, and it lasted such a long time. She’s truly the best. Professional, talented, and made me feel so comfortable. Plus, the salon is super cute and has such a great vibe.I’ll definitely be coming back to her again!

I absolutely adore this blow bar location and everyone who works there! I’ve been a member for a while now and I genuinely love it. The blow dry membership is totally worth it — I get two blowouts a month, plus free perks and discounts on makeup services and everything else they offer. Every time I walk in, I know I’m going to leave feeling fabulous. I trust the team so much that I give them full creative freedom — whether I describe a certain look or let them do their thing, they each add their own flair and twist that I love. In the photo I’m sharing, these are Wally’s Waves — his curls are truly unmatched. He’s amazing. And my makeup? Done by the incredible Roxanne. She’s done my makeup for everything from holiday parties to photo shoots, music festivals, concerts, and themed events. She always delivers and gets me to try fun new things that end up looking incredible. I also want to give special shoutouts to Keith, Gina, Roxanne, and Wally — not only for their talent, but for the genuine conversations, beauty advice, and even a little therapy here and there! I’ve had amazing experiences with everyone I’ve met here, and I know I can walk in, book with anyone, and trust that I’ll walk out looking and feeling great. Highly recommend this place. Y’all are the best — love you!
