I loved Camp El Tesoro. The camp is clean, safe, and full of energy. Hiking, canoeing, and campfires made it an unforgettable experience.

El Tesoro should be considered a North Texas icon. I went there as a kid, and,in turn, sent my own kids there. Camp Fire has the history to ensure a fun but safe experience for your children to experience summer camp the way it should.

Very unhappy. My daughter was a first time camper and did not get to participate in any of the activities she selected. (Horseback, Challenge course, Fishing, etc.) All those activities went to either the 2 week campers or repeat campers. She was relegated to the activities that were not filled. Will not recommend this camp to others. Parents, be aware, the activities advertised are not available for everyone. My daughter was very upset and so am I. We bought several items that were required for certain activities that she wasn't allowed to do.

Such an amazing place. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The facilities are also modern and cleanly. I have attended this camp for 12 years and worked on staff for two. The programs put on throughout the year are family friendly, and offer a variety of activities ranging from canoeing, archery, arts & crafts, along with many others. Make sure to check out this hidden gem Granbury, TX has to offer.

It's been a while since I was at this camp, but it left it's impression on me. I visited this camp as part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Becoming an Outdoor Woman's program. Some of the best photos I took ... ever ... where at this camp. The staff were fantastic and the food was pretty good. The area was great for hiking, star gazing, kayaking, and of course photography. I had a blast at this camp. The cabins were clean and well kept.
