I recently had a disappointing experience at Crate & Barrel. Last week, I saw a table runner in the store and asked a sales associate for the price. She couldn’t find the information and took my contact details, promising to get back to me by the end of the day—but I never heard from her. On Monday, I called the store to follow up. The person who answered told me the item was discontinued, but that I could purchase the display piece with a 10% discount. I asked if they could hold it for me, but was told they could not. Today, I called again, and it seemed like no one knew anything about the item. I had to explain everything from the beginning. Again, I requested that they hold it for me until I arrived, but there was no clear answer. When I finally went to the store, the manager, Gricel, told me there would be no discount. When I mentioned that I had been told otherwise, she then said it would be a final sale. That didn’t make sense—why would I pay full price for a display item and also accept a final sale with no returns? In the end, she didn't give me any discount, but at least accepted to give me regular return policy. But the whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Crate & Barrel is not a cheap store, and I expected much better service and consistency. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider shopping there again.

Worst delivery service in the world. Waited three months for delivery of a loveseat - and when delivery day finally arrived, the “service” team had the wrong address. Truck was in my neighborhood, but “policy” would not allow delivery. If you want your furniture in a timely manner, don’t bother with Crate & Barrel.
