Honestly, I was disappointed, especially for a spot on the Michelin Guide. We tried the xiao long bao, dan dan noodles, green onion pancake, and pork baos. The xiao long bao were just okay mid at best and honestly, other places around San Francisco do them better. The dan dan noodles tasted more like peanut sauce with noodles; I wouldn’t order them again. The green onion pancake was the worst, so undercooked it was basically raw dough. The pork baos were better, the filling was decent but the breading was so thick it felt almost like hard candy. Overall, I expected much more from a Michelin-recognized spot.

Hands down one of the best soup dumplings / xiaolongbaos and shengjianbaos in North America!! Better than DTF IMO. The egg and chive packets were also really good and authentic 😋😋 Be there before they open to beat the crowds.

Steamed dumplings (Xiao long bao) are amazing. We ordered one spicy and one squash/shrimp. Pan fired dumplings are not the best in Bay Area, I’ll give a 4. A localized dumpling place in general. Good vibe and atmosphere.

Soupy Xiao Long Bao is very yummy! Pan fried buns are juicy too. Overall food quality and services are both good!

The food was absolutely delicious and came out super fast. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The beer was really good too! It does get a little loud since the place stays busy, but that just shows how popular it is. You might not linger long, but every bite is worth it. I really enjoyed my visit!
