Learned how to do my 8 Jewels exercises from these guys. They are the most professional outlet dedicated to healthy lifestyles.

My 6 year old son has been going here for about two months now, and so far, it has been fantastic. He did taekwondo for around 2 years prior to coming here, and there is a huge difference between the two experiences. The ratio of instructors to kids in the group classes is great, with the added bonus of a wonderful group of teenagers and young adults that help out with the kids classes. They also have weekly private lessons on top. The thing that really makes this place worth every penny, for me, is that, while they are learning the techniques and individual skills quickly and effectively, from day 1, my son was learning self defense combinations to defend from the most frequent types of attacks. He is actually learning how to protect himself and escape from, what my son would call “bad guys”. That practical application of the skills they are learning is something we weren’t getting before, and is priceless. It is also worth noting that the school is very large, clean, and caters to all ages and interests, with instructors who are passionate, talented, knowledgeable and fun. Oh, and they aren’t charging ridiculous belt test fees either!

About 9 months ago I started training at Eastern Ways Martial Arts Studio, Sacramento branch. The instructors are very knowledgeable, highly qualified, and have a unique way of teaching that is challenging yet fun. You are truly in a learning environment. The students are friendly and willing to share knowledge. I was having issues with endurance and stamina and not able to complete a 30 minute session. My instructor suggested a few changes to my routine, and now I am able to complete an hour session with no problem. I highly recommend Eastern Ways Martial Arts to anyone wanting a fun yet challenging way to get in shape. Sincerely, GJD

This is a great school that is good with both kids and adults. There are 1 on 1 classes and a good mix of group classes allowing for flexibility in interests and scheduling.

Eastern ways has been around for a long time I’ve known them since 2016. I have taken tai chi and kung fu and I can say that they have always held their high standards to their traditions of both martial arts and I would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve always wanted to learn kung fu when I was a kid, but my mom couldn’t afford it. Now that I’m in my 50’s, with years of bodybuilding and weight lifting competitions, I wanted a new challenge. Learning kung fu at Eastern Ways is excitingly fun for me! I’m not just learning self defense, but it’s another way of keeping me active in my later years!
