A fantastic new addition to the neighborhood! The space is incredibly clean, spacious, and conveniently located with easy access in the FiDi area. Both the staff and the teachers are wonderful, welcoming people. If you’re into Pilates, you definitely need to try this place out!

Amazing experience with classical Pilates! I really loved my instructor Alaina in the morning mixed levels class. She was so attentive, kind, and detail oriented - I felt like I learned a lot. I’m surprised that we have such a big, amazing studio right downtown. Definitely stop by when you have a chance, it’s worth it! Bonus is that they have showers and private lessons too

What a pretty, clean, and welcoming studio!! This place deserves way more attendance and publicity as a newly opened pilates studio in Embarcadero. As a hobbyist who has been exploring Pilates classes in SF for over a year, I had my intro class this morning with Amy for intermediate reformer, and will definitely be coming back as prep for my STOTT teacher certification course next spring. Perfect for young working professionals in San Francisco, or any ladies (or guys) seeking a high-quality, low-key, classic learning environment to up their pilates game. Location: the Embaracadero malls are elegant, refreshing, and perfect for weekends in the city with lots of cute little shops nearby. You can easily walk to Rosalind's Bakery, or the Ferry Building after class for a post-workout danish or matcha latte! Studio: clean, simple, well-lit, and spacious. Brand-new Merrithew reformer machines with pretty black and white straps. More calming, modern and high-quality than Club Pilates; less "crossfit for Instagram influencers" than Lagree or Solidcore. Workout: because I prefer doing cardio & strength training separately, I love that this is a true reformer pilates class, not a cardio-HIIT-strength-pilates hybrid. I'm able to focus on cardio and strength at my gym, while in my class at Elevate I can focus on form, stretching, and posture. Instructor & lesson format: The instructor was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind! As someone who finds private lessons too intimate (and expensive), and mass market classes a little overwhelming, the 7-10 person group class at Elevate Pilates struck the perfect balance. Facilities: clean and spacious showers, lockers, and bathrooms for men and women onsite; with separate studio rooms for barre and pilates. I was really excited to see they had dedicated equipment and rooms for barrels and cadillac pilates. Overall, this place feels modern and welcoming, and leans professional rather than trendy. Please come out and show your support for this newly opened independent gem!
