I don’t usually go for sweet things, but Fluffy Mc Cloud completely changed my mind. Emily made me the best banana split I’ve ever had — a six-scoop masterpiece. The ice cream was organic, rich, and perfectly balanced, but what really blew me away was how she crème brûléed the crust on top of the banana. That caramelized layer added the most beautiful texture and depth — absolutely genius. Emily really took her time making it too and you can taste her artistry!

Stopped by this ice cream shop on a beautiful saturday evening. Had a cool old school vibe to it with a jukebox. We sampled various flavors (hibiscus sorbet, pistachio, mint chip, chocolate, coconut). I went with the coconut on a cone. It was good! I would definitely come back and try other flavors.

On August it’ll be 2 years since Fluffy McCloud’s arrived to Echo Park! I love this place so much, the vibe is immaculate and the gelato/ice cream quality is out of this world. I come by myself or with my family and each time I visit I fall more in love with this place. Some of my fav things are the cute bench outside the shop, the toys kids can take for free & the hopscotch right in front of the shop’s entrance. The owner is incredibly kind and humble. Fluffy has definetly won a place in the heart of Echo Park’s residents. So many shops and business are closing and it’ll break my heart and leave me devasted if ANYTHING happens to Fluffy McCloud’s. Love you guys and please stay for as long as possible.

One of my favorite ice cream places was Ici’s in Berkeley but it suddenly closed a few years ago. I’ve been looking for a place to fill that void and perhaps find closure. Well, I found closure and a new magical ice cream experience in Sunset Blvd. Eating their ice cream for the first time felt like that scene in the film Ratatouille where the food critic takes a bite and flashes back to his childhood. I live 6 hours away, but always make sure to stop by when I’m visiting. I was going to give up ice cream for lent, but knew I wouldn’t be strong enough to skip Fluffy McCloud’s! Already looking forward to my next visit!

Some of the best ice cream can be found here! I was a bit reluctant at first but after trying a sample of the strawberry ice cream, I was hooked. Got a waffle cone of it and hands down, their waffle cones are the best. It’s the sweet spot of not too soft and not too hard. Best part is the wonderful lady who helped us was extremely friendly. Along with all of this, there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Highly recommend a visit here if you love ice cream!!
