very disheartening but i went to the store to purchase a needoh. im a tourist and were i live they dont sell it so i was excited to get it. i get there not only the old lady looks at me from up and down but after asking her she pointedly says “no. sold out”. i walk atound the store if i can find anything else that could replace the needoh oh but what a surprise the other employee beside her had in her hands an unopened needoh… like why lie about the needoh if you dont wanna sell it just dont. i came from the other side of the world just tell me ao i dont lose my time. my friend had to wait a bunch of minutes infront of the counter to ask about the jellycats while they both talked about whatever. tourists if you gonna buy popular us toys dont do it here.

You would expect a toy store in a high-end mall like Fashion Valley to provide a great customer experience. I made the mistake of coming here with my daughter to look for Needoh toys. They were listed on the Geppeto's web site as being a product they carry. As soon as we walked in the store I knew we had made a mistake. There were no customers, but the two girls behind the cash register couldn't have made us feel more unwelcome. After not finding what we were looking for, I asked the one of the two girls who slightly acknowledged my presence if they had any Needoh products. The expression on her face made me think she smelled something bad. She didn't say a word. Just rudely shook her head no. We left immediately. This is clearly not who you want working for you in a toy store. And judging by the other 1 star reviews on Yelp (3.8 rating), this is just how the employees at this store treat customers. The owner obviously doesn't care, and doesn't know how to hire or train employees. We won't be going back. At a time when you can buy everything this place sells online for cheaper, strange they don't even offer even the bare minimum customer service. At every other store we visited in the mall the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. I'd be shocked if Geppetto's doesn't go the way of Toys r Us. Small store with bad selection, high prices and rude staff.

Incredible customer service, good prices even not considering they're in a mall. Would highly recommend the chain and this store.

My family visited Geppetto's from out of town and we were so pleasantly surprised to see a locally owned toy shop up and running! There were so many different kinds of toys, creative sets, and scientific discovery kits. Staff were friendly and let us browse at our own pace. Everyone in the family left the shop with something special, including baby and grown ups!

I don’t think a grumpy old lady should be working at a store that sells kids toys meant to bring joy when she takes joy away from kids.
