Get Bent is my favorite gym in the East Bay! The coaches/owners Jason and Pela truly care about the community and your development as a lifter. They host the best events and have options for everyone including classes for beginners as well as private coaching for advanced powerlifters. Check it out!

If I would’ve known a gym like this existed, I would’ve started coming a long time ago!! I’m a perpetual beginner when it comes to fitness because I just can’t seem to find a workout regimen that isn’t too intimidating, too expensive, etc. But the way Coach Jason and Coach Pela have set up their classes has been perfect for me! They, along with Coach Blair, Coach James and Coach Katie, are all so knowledgeable about fitness and the human body. I love the way they teach in a laid back but informative way. I feel totally comfortable asking questions even if it’s something they’ve told me before because they’re all so patient and kind. The whole gym is one big community too, it’s beautiful! All ages, all levels, all are welcome! I’m so happy I found this gem. 10/10, you should totally join :)

Everytime I come to the gym it has been a great experience . I love the ass and Abs class on the weekends . I’m a beginner gym goer but I feel like the class caters to that with a huge push! I recommend taking some classes off Instagram to try it out .

Get bent it’s literally a melting pot of magnificent, they have great music amazing well informed staff and the patrons are also equally amazing. It’s very clean space it’s a very welcoming space. Send it in a heart of Oakland a city that I love., The environment brings a very well curated tone of excellence and they literally have participants from 17 to 77 as young as 12. They have a variety of classes and they definitely have a kick ass powerlifting squad would definitely recommend 75 out of 10 for sure.
