Hauser & Wirth offers an amazing mix of art, architecture, and atmosphere. The layout is spacious and easy to explore, which makes it perfect for a slow and enjoyable visit. The artwork on display is always high quality and interesting. I also like that there are places to sit, relax, and even grab a bite nearby. It is a great place to spend an afternoon.

High class gallery with a restaurant in the middle and... Chickens! The overall vibe is very relaxed and comfortable. They have good moderated discussions with artists as well.

The only place in LA where you can ponder modern art, eat award-winning food, shop for design books, and say hi to actual chickens… all before noon. It’s not just a gallery — it’s a lifestyle. You wander through museum-grade exhibits, stumble into a chic bookstore that makes your coffee table feel underdressed, then end up at Manuela, where the cocktails are as artistic as the installations. Outside? A courtyard straight out of a European daydream, complete with a chicken coop that somehow makes total sense in DTLA. Come for the art, stay for the food, leave convinced you should own and install a chicken coop in your garden.

Just an overall great place. Great restaurants, awesome bookstore, great art. Also, free entry. I'll definitely come back.

Beautiful space. Pleasantly surprised by the exhibits. There were two small indoor galleries, courtyard restaurant, some shops, and a small garden. Went early saturday, started getting busy around noon. Would recommend going on a weekday. Free entry. Paid garage across the street. Total time spent around 1hr.
