Five stars for Lake Highlands School of Music! We enrolled our daughter to help her get ready for auditions at Booker T, and her instructor, Thane, was exactly what she needed: knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in her success. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out (she got in!), and we’d absolutely recommend Lake Highlands School of Music to anyone looking for serious music lessons.

Our son attended LHSM for years and it was fantastic. He loved the instructors and the creative atmosphere. He eventually graduated from Booker T Washington in Dallas and music is still his passion!

We've been very happy with taking drum lessons from Joe J. He is easy to communicate with, organized, very productive, makes my kiddo feel comfortable, and makes sure my kiddo understands the lesson. I can't say enough good things about him. He's a good fit for our 13-year old son. We think he is one of the reasons my son was accepted into Booker T Washington high school. I highly recommend him if you're looking into drum lessons.

Absolutely phenomenal school! Teaching staff are all so friendly and amazing! From my time with them, I learned the drums, bass, and guitar. They always pushed me to do my best and made my learning experience so enjoyable!!
