I brought my summer day camp for a field trip and got nothing but race reviews from my staff regarding the staff with the skating and scooters as well as the rock climbing! We will definitely come back next year!! Field trip Bookers this was a great experience for suburban kids to experience a piece of the city!

Super cool place I took my nephews. I’ve been taking them to Maggie Daley Park when they come to the city for years, since it opened, but we’ve never done the Rock Climbing. They loved it. There’s really no time limit and it’s wasn’t busy. And we were there on a weekend! I will say the field house took forever to wait in line and get the gear and sign the release forms etc. But other than that, great experience again at Maggie Daley Park.

I was super stoked to try the climbing wall here, and while it was fun, I felt like there was a lot of unrealized potential for climbers. Went on a weeknight in June. Only about half the wall was set, and only about 5 top ropes were actually up. I hear the day pass price has gone up from $7 to $15 but you get less for it - bouldering, auto belays, and top rope/lead are all separate fees, but they used to be all under the single fee. Also, auto belays are $25 for only half an hour, which is just ridiculous to me, especially when there aren’t many top ropes set up (maybe they put up more on the weekends…?) However, even with the limited climbing options, I’d climb here all the time if they had a seasonal membership - I’m sure that would attract a lot of climbers in the area! It has the potential to be a really awesome climbing spot - very unique! It’s so convenient to where I live, and fun to get out of the gym. Staff is very nice, though they also seem dissatisfied with the way the wall is run. If it was run more like a climbing gym it’d be way more accessible and fun to climb at for both first-timers and regular climbers! Please bring back seasonal memberships!!!

What a gem of a place to be able to climb walls right in the heart of the city. Very nice staff and knowable. We go weekly when the weather is nice.
