Overall good tasting but a suggestion regarding the $25 beef tendon plate. The portion is large, expensive and so awkward. Not many people want this as their only entree, and it’s still too big to share between 2 people. I would prefer a smaller portion for less cost. And include rice.

TL;DR: Great variety of soups and SO flavorful This spot is located at the food court inside of H-Mart. Visiting San Diego and was craving some Korean soup. When I found this spot, first things that caught my eye was pork gukbap and soondae guk, both of which options are limited/non-existent back at home. SERVICE: Very friendly. You order, pay, they give you a beeper, and then find a table. There are a lot of other vendors too, so it was fun to walk around and see what they had. FOOD: ~Pork Gukbap (5/5): had so much good flavor. The depth of flavor in the soup was so good, and the pieces of pork in it was so tender and melt in your mouth good. You get to season it yourself so that you can get it just to your liking. ~Spicy Soondae Guk (5/5): This was SO GOOD. Flavor bomb and just spicy enough. Decent amount of meat and soondae in it. ~Soondae & Pork Sampler Plate (3/5): Soondae was okay but a little overcooked (bursting, but not in a good way). The pork sampler was a mixed bag. Some pieces were tender and some were dry and rough, but overall flavor was okay. Overall, this place definitely won me over with their soups.

Spicy Soondae Combo! Open early and good taste! Suggest to bring your own water bottle. Otherwise, U need to buy one bottle at $1. Or you have to serve yourself.

This place was recommended by a Korean friend. I ordered the pork soup and it was flavorful with lots of pork, onions, noodles and yummy broth. It was a generous portion so I took half of it home and had it for dinner. Staff were friendly. I would go there again to try other dishes.

I really enjoyed beef back bone soup with glass noodles recommended by the cashier. The soup was flavorful, the meat isn’t too soft or chewy it’s just right. The price is a bit high compared to other food court places. Cashier was nice, quick service. Will come back to try other dishes.
