I recently had the pleasure of attending a zoom session with Shannon from moon landing meditative arts, and it was an incredible experience. Shannon's guidance was both insightful and nurturing; a creative space where I felt seen and supported. Her expertise in yoga and somatics was evident, and she seamlessly tailored the session to address the group's needs. The rooms to rent for healing arts and group meetings are beautiful and welcoming as well!

I recently did an exploratory session with Shannon with the goal of finding some calm and focus around some personal and professional issues I was dealing with. It's so hard to describe in words the ways in which she was able to both steer the conversation towards getting at the heart of what was bubbling up, but also to, in very subtle ways, observe my posture/body language/breathing and allow that to inform what might be at the core of some of the feelings or emotions that were hanging out right alongside the stories I was telling myself. From there she had some lovely suggestions about how to gently shift tension and anxiety in my body. And I left the session with one really solid action step that I took the following week, and also feeling strongly grounded.

First off I’d like to acknowledge Ingrid specifically because she has been helping me immensely with a rather difficult pregnancy. she is such a gentle, intuitive healer whose acupuncture and guided meditations in the gorgeously designed womb room have been crucial to my wellbeing. Secondly, I’ve been finding the collaborative spirit of their in-house peer support group offerings super beneficial in helping me start a small business. I’ve been dreaming about starting it for years but had never taken any steps to pursue it. This was the motivation I needed. To be able to bounce ideas of other likeminded entrepreneurs, get feedback, and encouragement has greatly accelerated my growth in this area. They also offer yoga and the environment is a really homey, safe, and intimate space that creates a sense of freeness in your body that often is lacking in larger studios. I’ve really been taking advantage of my membership at this one stop shop! Cant recommend enough!!!

Take one step in the door at Moon Landing and you know you’ve arrived somewhere special. Shannon’s warm welcome highlights a beautiful, purpose built space that cocooned our session in the aptly named Womb Room. Shannon invited me to sit where I pleased, and to arrange the room in a way that made me feel most at ease. Her experience, confidence and empathy were evident from the outset, helping me relax into the subtleties of my somatic self. As a massage therapist I am used to feeling, kinesthetically, the world around me, but connecting psychological and social self to my somatic experience was something new and something powerful to learn. This was my first time working with an SE practitioner, and I reckon Shannon set the bar high.

I had a very empowering session experiencing SomaYoga with Shannon here. Shannon has created something so unique and integrative by taking movements and principles of yoga and fusing them with the evidenced based and effective work of Somatic Experiencing. I felt safe and attuned to during our session, and experienced a deeper sense of permission to playfully mobilize through the different states of my nervous system. I have already begun to utilize what I experienced with this practice in every day life and feel more capable of regulating when I need to.
