Easily one of the top bakeries in sacramento. The savory items are just as good as the sweet options. Come early if you want the almond chocolate croissant. Its worth it. Beautiful hand crafted baked goods. Wonderful service and wonderful bakers.

The brown butter almond cake was warm, moist on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The cardamom bun was baked to perfection, flakey, soft, crunchy top, pulls apart beautifully. The ham and cheese croissant was salty, savory, and buttery. I've been trying out a lot of bakeries in the area, from Stockton, Modesto, Livermore, etc. and so far this has been the absolute best. The prices are very fair as well, definitely been to bakeries that charged twice as much for a quarter of the quality. Definitely recommend going early and getting everything fresh. Another review stated this place was not worth the drive and everything was stale, which makes me think they went to the wrong bakery. I'm an hour away - worth the drive and everything item was freshly made and delicious.

Moonbelly Bakery is a gorgeous little gem in East Sacramento with pastries that absolutely live up to the hype. I fell in love with their fig and cream croissant (heavenly!) and their quiche was just as good. The only downside? Their hours are super limited, which makes it hard to pop in often. And while the staff aren’t rude, they also don’t come across as especially warm or welcoming—totally understandable given how busy the shop gets, but still noticeable. If the hours were more regular and the vibe a touch friendlier, I’d be here all the time. Still, the pastries are delicious and definitely worth a stop!

They have a revolving counter, which means be mindful of the time that you go if you want something specific. This was my 2nd time there and I don’t think you can go wrong with anything that you choose, plus I just ask the staff for recommendations 😊 Once they open they have more breakfast selections. 10:30am is when they roll out sandwiches and once they are out of something they are out of it. They have a small drink selection. 1st Picture Pastries (top to bottom) Mushroom & Gruyere Danish Brown Butter Almond Cake Rhubarb & Cream Cheese Danish Our order was $15 not including tip We arrived around 9AM and this was the selection that they had on the counter at the time. The line can be long which means you may be standing outside but it’s worth it. They ask that you keep the door closed so that flies do not come in. If you made it this far, hit the like button if the information and pictures were helpful 👍🏽

Very cute, little cozy place. I love pastries, especially croissants. High quality, freshly baked pastries and breads. Very friendly service. They are a bit pricey, have limited parking space, and small area to sit and eat. But I really liked the sesame croissant. I tried goat cheese carrots, hot honey? sandwich. (I love carrot lape sandwiches, so I decided to try it), but the smell of goat cheese was too much for me.
