They've improved their selection, lots of interesting biographies and well sectioned bookshop. It is fancy, expensive but if you don't shop at these places they wont exist. Bought a couple of great books and will be back to shop again.

I LOVE this bookstore. It is my favorite one in NYC! First of all, on a surface level, the design is STUNNING and feels like it’s a shop that came out of a movie. The employees are all wonderful and very full of information and help! The selection is amazing, too. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here.

Beautiful bookstore in Midtown/Flatiron! The store is lined with wooden bookcases and paintings above the bookshelves of a partly cloudy sky. They have a nice selection of fiction books and even an Italian book section. I especially liked their section at the front of the store dedicated to NY books and souvenirs and also enjoyed browsing their photography books.

Such a beautiful bookstore tucked right in the middle of Manhattan. The high ceilings and classic wooden bookshelves make it feel like a dream. Loved the thoughtfully curated selection—definitely a place you can get lost in for hours.

Rizzoli Bookstore features an impressively high ceiling and red-framed glass doors that lead into different sections of the space. The combination of wooden bookshelves and chandeliers creates a refined interior that perfectly complements the store’s strong focus on visually rich books—ranging from architecture and photography to interior design, art, and cooking. What left the biggest impression on me, though, was the children’s section tucked behind those red-framed doors. It wasn’t just the thoughtful curation that stood out, but the genuine affection for children that came through. Despite its collection of high-end, beautifully made books, the store doesn’t lean into elitism or intellectual showmanship. Instead, it feels grounded in something more essential—a quiet belief in beauty as something human and inclusive, not distant or exclusive.
