My daughter wanted to learn how to play electric guitar. In a week's time we had visited 3 different Guitar Centers and 2 smaller local shops. The experience wasn't that great at any of them - reps were either too busy to help or just gave simple yes/no answers. But at Rockin Robin we were helped by Phil! This dude was helpful, patient, and friendly. Knowing that my daughter was a beginner, he answered all her questions, offered bits of advice and pretty much gave her a crash course on guitars, amps, maintenance, music theory, etc! Top tier customer service!

Came in from Dallas to see some of the shops in the area while I was out on a job, the place had "Hondo's" or "insert whatever cheap guitar brand you want here" up in the air you couldn't play without a sales person with you. Several signs all over the place saying repeatedly "sales associate only" "don't play more than ten minutes" for 200-500 dollar instruments and amps. Meanwhile the sales staff was standing around speaking about what the next shirt was gonna look like with no interest in helping me, or talking to me. Now I'm not a millionaire, but I'll usually buy a T shirt and a pack of strings from these places, didn't bother with this place. I've been to some great and terrible guitar stores in my travels across the country, this place was probably one of the worst. I don't recommend this place, go to Dave's in Houston, they were polite, had much more selection and better prices, not to mention they let you play custom shops without anyone breathing over your neck.

First time visiting and was made to feel welcomed immediately. This place is awesome, so much history, knowledge and skills in one place. Didn't buy a guitar, got some picks and this cool shirt, but will definitely check out the online shop. To the gentlemen working today, thank y'all for hearing me shpeel on. Keep on rockin', Robin

Great customer service. Went in with my daughter, who is interested in learning guitar. An employee, Cara, approached us and helped us look at starter guitars and packages. I made it clear that we were not buying today, and that we also knew next to nothing about guitars. Cara spent a *lot* of time with us going over different options, answering questions, teaching my daughter how to hold a guitar... generally being incredibly helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be buying her first guitar here Oh, and my daughter wanted to make sure we thanked Matt for letting her play the drums!

This place is really great. They have tons of instruments that have been loved by former musicians. The wealth of history there is phenomenal. The guys who serve there are super nice and it seems to always have a decent flow of patrons. It's in a busy area and has a small parking lot right in front but it's really difficult to get into the street there due to the traffic, at least at the time of day we were there. It's better to parallel park on the side of the building. There are ample food shops near and at least another music store across the street. I highly recommend this establishment.
