Very nice theater. We had great seats in orchestra. Seats are comfortable and spacious and Inappreciate that they are staggered with the row in front of you so the view is even more clear. Overall great theater experience

Beautiful theater to see any event . Plenty of libations to satisfy. Not sure of food offerings as we had visited the wonderful Grant hotel for pre concert tidbits. Just a block away. Parking lot across street from Civic Theater, very convenient but pricey.

Nice venue Convenient parking garage -$15.00 fee I purchased row C tickets for the third row seating over a year in advance. Closer to the event date, rows AA,BB,&CC appeared for sale. This now ment we were in the sixth row. Choosing tickets seat 10 and 12(even side) center stage... chose to be a bit of a challenge. These seats were in the orchestra area and I believe all rows on the floor were one solid row with no brakes between. This meant everyone and anyone who wanted to leave your row through the even side of the row was crossing in front of you or you had to stand up to let them go by. If we use this venue again, we will take the end seats so that we can just stand up and get out of their way. Also, I did notice that the seats were not especially roomy. I saw several voluptuous/taller people who looked extremely uncomfortable. If this could be you, I would definitely see if they had more comfortable seating at their venue and where that might be. Hope this helps!

I love the San Diego Civic Theatre! I have been to a handful of shows there and it never disappoints. The view is great regardless of where you sit. The lobby and bathrooms are controlled chaos. That’s a good thing. Lots of people but the staff has it down and knows how to make things go smoothly. Of course I’ll be back!

Omg! What an experience. I went to the Diamond Anniversary and got to see the renovations. It is absolutely beautiful. The tour guide was so upbeat, fun and such a nice person! The ushers were great! The Sound of Music was so fun, we got a fun tote bag from the theatre for the tour and one for the Sound of Music .. I'm definitely going back!
