Went to see Nutcracker with my daughters school. Spreckels is very old but still is one of the most beautiful venues in San Diego. It is well keep for being so old and the staff is very nice and helpful. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy another event there. Great idea to have an event for the students. They learn to appreciate it.

A true San Diego gem! Gorgeous theatre. Fabulous production of the Nutcracker by San Diego City Ballet.

A piece of nostalgia. Saul Conan O'Brien for Comic-Con in the theater was great for a live show but I would not want to see much more there. The theater is in a large building with many small businesses and offices. This can make it difficult to navigate around. Bathrooms are on the other side of the theater.

Dated. If you are 6' + be prepared to hate your height as the seats give you zero room for your knees. The AC is pretty much non functional. But the show and sound system used used by Conan was great. If you have sensitive ears bring ear plugs.
