This is my first to visit Dr. Aguilar who has two assistants are very knowledgeable and professional. They took all information and ask some vital issues. Then Dr. Aguilar looks then notes and exam my eyes thoroughly. He also ordered special test to check my optic nerve. He scheduled another appointment and bring my other medical records next visit. Everyone including front desk is friendly and helpful.I have visited many ophthalmologist offices this is the gold star.

SF Eye Institute was awesome from start to finish. Security, front desk, and the whole team were welcoming and professional. I saw Dr. Kaur, super thorough, kind, and easy to talk to. I definitely recommend booking with her, so make sure to look for her when you schedule your appointment. I used my VSP insurance and my eyeglasses were covered too, which was a nice bonus. They also have a big selection of frames. Overall, great vibes and great care. Go book your appointment! You’ll be glad you did!

Dr Schwartz is the best. I have seen him for years. Deeply knowledgable with a sense of humor. He knows how to communicate complex circumstances ,offers alternatives to consider, and puts everything in to context. He is a real human being in addition to being an extraordinarily skilled clinician. He listens, doesn't rush, and shows compassion. The institute itself has good assistants and friendly, helpful reception staff

Great service from the staff! Wonderful customer care and service. Dr. Aguilar is personable, skilled, and knowledgeable. He is second to none. By the way, Dr. Thier has treated four generations of my family. He is trustworthy, a brilliant ophthalmologist, and also second to none. This organization has the best people to help you with your needs. I am blessed to have been able to get their support.

This was my first visit with Dr.Kaur & she was terrific, She reviewed the updated history & medication list that I had brought to the visit & asked me appropriate questions about my history & meds. She has a great sense of humor & made me feel comfortable when the chair in the first exam room made me feel like I was going to slip. She changed rooms with me & it was much better. She answered my questions & made sure that any problems I may have would require an immediate visit to the office. Her exam was thorough & I felt very positive about my new doctor. I am very pleased with the new group of office staff, too. They made me feel welcome & made a note to contact me for my next year’s visit. This was the first time this happened in this office. I would never hesitate to recommend this doctor or the office staff!
