They canceled the appointment 40 min before without any explanation. Unprofessional and disappointing.

Canceled my appointments twice! They sent a cancelation text at my 7pm in the evening before my first appointment. They said there was an onsite emergency. I rebooked for the following week. After taking the time to prep for the appointment and reconfiguring my schedule? I received ANOTHER CANCELLATION 1.5 hours before my appointment. They did not apologize and the consumer service was mid. I feel like I dodged a bullet.

Warning for any of the girlies (and boys) considering a membership or other package can you confidently answer the question of what “calendar month” means? 1. The month in a calendar (jan, feb, etc) 2. The time period from a specific day in the month to the corresponding day in the next month If you chose (1) are you comfortable with being gaslit and disparaged by corporate? I assume there are other similarly vague and undefined phrases in the contract that will also lead to you being gaslit + disparaged if you dare to misinterpret them. If you’re comfortable with that possibility go ahead and do business with this company. If you’re not I would recommend giving your business to any of the plethora of similar companies in the area. Some gems I was told: “No one has EVER had a question about what calendar month means” “No really, I am on all the channels of communication and can guarantee no one has ever had a question” “stop talking in hypotheticals” - when I asked how the rep would know if someone has ever asked a question about the phrase in office “It passed legal and all the departments, so it has to be very clear and make sense” Truly sad I did not request a recording of the call because it was unbelievable and laughably aggressive. Super unfortunate to have this experience because I have done multiple treatments with the company but this incredibly unpleasant experience and not being able to book with a specific technician I wouldn’t recommend entering in to any contracts with them.

This location has always been overbooked and it seems very hard to get appointments that fit within the recommended timeframe for laser treatments to be consistent and effective. Even with open availability their appointment options are way too spaced out. It was also a different tech nearly every appointment I had and they default to using the weakest setting on the machines, even after many appointments and requests to increase the strength. They are literally always listed on Groupon despite being overbooked, which is a red flag. It all seems designed to flood their appointments, keep you coming back, and maximize their profit. I saw *way* better results with fewer appointments when I switched to using professional dermatology offices and/or independent laser clinics. I now save myself the runaround and avoid retail laser chains like SEV and LaserAway.

The reception desk is terrible. I have been going to them for over a year now and I continue to just because I paid and bought a package. Appointments are very hard to come by. When they cancel on you there are no reasons or excuses or refunds given. They also don’t bother rescheduling you. Sometimes you show up and they are like oh sorry we made a mistake. However if you are late they cancel your appointment and charge you 50% for it. I am only stuck because of the group package I paid for.
