I had a great experience at The Lane Salon in San Francisco. I hadn’t had my hair done since 2014, so I was pretty nervous going in. Maclaine was really thoughtful about that and recommended subtle mini highlights to ease me into coloring again. The result is beautiful and very natural. He’s incredibly detail-oriented, thorough, and clearly very skilled with color. I highly recommend Maclaine if you’re looking for a great colorist. Ali did my haircut and she was wonderful as well. She listened carefully to what I wanted and made sure to keep my length while adding long layers to frame my face. It feels fresh and polished without being a dramatic change, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The whole experience at The Lane Salon was welcoming and professional. I would absolutely recommend both Maclaine and Ali.
