April is a 10 plus! Update on my review after coming here for over a year now. April Sanchez does an amazing job! She is the best manager and the best stylist I have been to in over 20 years. I have searched salons in Oklahoma including Duncan Brothers, and many other top salons and have never found someone with the skills that April has. Not only the skills but the patience with her clients to do her very best. Every time I walk out of the salon I know I've had the best possible care for my hair. Love coming here. She is a very skilled and talented stylist who takes great care in giving each client excellent not just good service. Prices have always been very reasonable in the past at this salon. Not sure now as I'm seeing the prices increase. April is worth it! She has seasoned experience in cutting men's hair as well as women's hair, which gives her a much broader perspective and ability to provide top quality service, regardless of the client's gender. So very happy that I found her. I also met Lillie who follows her manager's example excelling in her career. I just found out that Lillie has left this salon. I asked about her today and all I know is she left. What a loss as she was following the example of her mentor and will be one of the top salons in the Dallas-Fort Worth area no doubt! I have been to salons in Oklahoma ,Colorado and New Mexico . These girls are the best! They're both very passionate about being the best at the artistic work they do. Lillie was so excited to learn from her manager April. They have not been here just to do a job, but it is a valuable career to them and to their clientele! What a great "breath of fresh air" to find stylists giving the very best in hair care and at a price that is very affordable. Take it from someone who has had a lot of disappointment and stylist, these stylists our top experts in their field and wherever their employed they make that business all it should be. I would not go any salon, Smart Style or elsewhere except where April is cutting hair as long as I am within driving distance of this area! And no I'm not a relative or friend, I just walked in here one day needing a haircut and never win anywhere else because of the expert service I received from April and also Lillie when April was out.
