First heard about Sweet Pete’s on the show The Profit. Since then, I’ve wanted to visit this candy store located in my hometown. Finally did for my birthday and what a treat. Whimsical decorations, nostalgia all around, and friendly staff. Food prices are more than reasonable. Would be a fun place to take kids as long as parents are ready to spend money on candy and toys!

Fantastic tour led by Pete himself! We decided to book the chocolate class. We learned about the different types of chocolate. They gave us samples of the chocolate they use along with a composite sample that is more along the lines of what you’d find in commercially made candies and boy you can taste the difference! Pete also shared his chocolate topping recipe for ice cream and brought everyone a sample! We enjoyed seeing parts of the factory while Pete explained the different machines and their operation. It is a very fun activity for all ages. They also have a restaurant on site and can do all kinds of parties for different venues. Each area was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The fudge we brought home was delicious as well. I’ll be bringing more out of town guests to Sweet Pete’s on future visits. Very fun!

Amazing! $5.50 to make 3 custom candy bars in a class with Sweet Pete! It was truly the best $5.50 I've spent in decades! Pete is amazing, the staff was super helpful, and who doesn't want to see the original golden ticket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? A MUST-SEE when visiting Jacksonville!

Stopped in at Sweet Pete’s on a Sunday morning and so glad I did. First off the business is in an incredible architectural treasure of a building built in 1903. There’s 3 floors and a working elevator. There’s even the availability of adult beverages from the soda fountain and ice cream area. If you like all types of candy and chocolate you will be in heaven. There’s areas to view the behinds the scenes candy “factory”. I tried a sample of their caramels and was sold. Also bought some peanut butter fudge and a sampling of some of their truffles from their glass display case. Do yourself a favor and check out Sweet Pete’s to make your sweet tooth happy.

This Candy Store is worth a visit no matter where you live. We were greeted with a hello and offer a homemade caramel piece of candy. Everyone we spoke to greeted us with a smile. There are 3 floors of goodness. On the second floor is a window to look down and view the candle making. The 3rd floor offers a banquet area to host parties. There is a rooftop area to visit and hang outside. A restaurant to enjoy some yummy lunch. I must tell you about the decorations. Amazing?!! Stop by and see for yourself the picture do not do it justice.
