The staff was so nice and helpful, they greet you as soon as you walk in and ask if there’s anything they could help me with

Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped me find everything I needed. They even helped me find a product they didn't have and described how to get it.

I’m writing to report a concerning experience involving our Instacart shoppers at the Vitamin Shoppe on Kirby, as well as the follow-up phone call we made to the store. According to our shoppers, the woman working the register, who appeared to be Caucasian, treated them in a way that felt dismissive and potentially discriminatory. When they asked whether an undamaged version of a product was available, they were told they could “take it or leave it,” rather than receiving any assistance. This happened yesterday around 3 p.m. Today, my wife called the store to address what happened. The woman who answered stated that she was the manager and gave the name “Slor.” I was present and heard the conversation. As soon as my wife mentioned the incident, the employee’s tone became defensive and uncooperative. She denied the situation entirely, and her reaction came across as angry rather than open to hearing a customer concern. We are simply asking that this situation be taken seriously and reviewed. Our shoppers were just doing their job and deserved respectful treatment, and we hoped for a more professional response when bringing this to the store’s attention. We would appreciate any steps taken to ensure all customers and shoppers are treated fairly going forward. Thank you for your time and attention.

I’m writing to report a troubling experience my Instacart shoppers had at your store November 23, 2025 at about 3:00-3:10 p.m. According to them, the woman working the register, who appeared to be Caucasian, treated them in a way that came across as dismissive and potentially discriminatory. When they politely asked whether an undamaged version of a product was available, she refused to help and told them they could “take it or leave it.” This kind of interaction is unacceptable. My shoppers were simply trying to do their job, and they deserved the same respect and assistance given to any other customer. I hope this matter is addressed so that no one else feels disregarded or profiled while shopping at your store. They were left to ask another associate for assistance and he helped with no problem. I live across the streets and my husband and I order the same thing all the time, but if this certain store has a problem with African American customers I could pick a different location to start ordering from. Thank you for taking the time to review this.
