Aiden was so great!! I never been to the shop before and tried some good dairy free flavors. I was impressed at their variety! I walked out the door with a cone and a pint that barely made it home because it was so good. Will be back for sure

First time here! So many options but the staff was welcoming and helpful. Feel free to try as many samples as you need to get that right combo. Clean place that we’re happy to hang out at. You can also buy pints and take it home! Will be back for sure. Easily some of the best ice cream you can get in Houston!

I loved the vegan cookies & cream caramel ice cream! Service was nice too. The young man from Nigeria (didn’t catch his name) is incredibly sweet and hospitable. I like that the dairy free is coconut based, as I have an almond and dairy allergy.

Summary: cute icecream place with its decor, aesthetic, and menu options. Just probs won’t ever come back bc it’s expensive given the portions. The workers were nice and patient though!

I visited Van Leeuwen on a Saturday afternoon. The place was quiet, and the service was fast and friendly — the staff was truly kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the quality of the ice cream did not meet expectations. The cone was soft and stale, the chocolate sauce had an odd, elastic texture and an artificial taste, and the cookies and cream flavor had a bitter or slightly sour note, which was disappointing. Given the high prices, I expected fresher ingredients and more balanced flavors. The brand has a great concept, but I believe the execution could be more refined to match the premium cost. I truly appreciated the kind service, but overall, the experience was underwhelming.
