Eight AM is an absolute gem for breakfast in the heart of San Francisco’s tourist area. The food is beautifully plated and just as delicious as it looks — every dish feels fresh and made with care. Service is quick, and the whole team is super friendly, which really adds to the experience. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to linger a little longer over your coffee and enjoy the vibe. For me, it was the perfect way to start the day, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Definitely worth the stop and easily a 5-star breakfast spot.

I stopped here around 10 AM on a Saturday. It was busy so we had to wait a few minutes for a table. The service here was great and very quick. I had the open faced bagel with avocado, egg and ham - it was a great combo. The fruit cup that came with it was very generous and fresh. I also had a crepe with peanut butter and banana. It was delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping here.

Breakfast at EightAM Brunch was a great experience. We had the pancakes and the avocado toast – both were delicious. The avocado toast, in particular, was very generous in size and really satisfying. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu offers a nice variety, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a relaxed start to the day. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Went to Eight AM for brunch based on their exceptional reviews (4.6 at the time), and honestly… it felt pretty overrated. The overall vibe was chill and the staff was friendly, but the food didn’t live up to the hype — very mediocre and definitely overpriced in my opinion. We ordered the Egg Frittata, Nutella Crepes, Waffle, and the Avocado Toast Sampler. The frittata came with house fries and fruit, and while it was decent, it didn’t feel like it was worth $22. The avocado toast sampler was especially disappointing — $30 for what was basically plain avocado spread on toast, topped with tomato, mozzarella, and a balsamic drizzle. It had almost no flavor, and definitely didn’t justify the price tag. The latte was just okay — nothing special — and same goes for the crepes and waffles. Not bad, but nothing memorable either. One annoying surprise: they automatically added a 20% gratuity, which they claim is for parties over 4 — that’s fine, but it really should be clearly mentioned somewhere on the menu or told upfront. I always tip anyway, but it’s the lack of transparency that was frustrating. Overall, it’s a cute spot with a relaxed atmosphere, but the food was underwhelming and overpriced. Giving 3 stars because it wasn’t bad, just really average and not worth the hype or cost. Wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
