Scott’s Essential Fitness is best in class! I’ve had gym memberships consistently throughout my life and several different trainers, nothing comes close to working with Scott. My first appointment, Scott took almost 2hrs to assess what my personal goals were - including any concerns I might have - as well as discussing my workout and nutrition history. After this initial mtg, he walked me through a number of exercises to get an accurate measurement of my strength and mobility. We also established several health calculations that are consistently monitored - e.g. visceral fat, lean body mass, body fat mass, etc. - and discussed nutritional goals, all of which he helps advise on and checks in on either daily or weekly (whatever your preference is). Scott skillfully tailors workouts to each individual helping build strength, mobility and confidence. I’ve been working with Scott for several years, my health and fitness is completely transformed. I’m in the best shape of my life thanks to Scott. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Have been coming here for almost 3 years and so glad for it. Scott is absolutely amazing - definitely focused on quality movement and underlying technique with kettlebells/barbells/other exercises. Every session is tailored not only to the long term goals that we’ve discussed but also to how the body’s feeling that day (sore/injured/hungover 🙃/etc.); I always leave feeling accomplished after a session. In addition to the movement, Scott also assists with nutrition guidance and provides strategies to meet personal goals while also being cognizant of life stressors and personal habits. Overall, Scott has a very supportive temperament. He wants to see you succeed and offers ways for you to stay accountable without berating you if you fall off the wagon.
